Staff isn’t eager to work. We had problems with the tap in that bathroom, they new about it, but nobody came to fix it. Breakfast was served very slowly, we waited up to an hour to get our order. When we came with the complaints, the receptionist (Dušan) was extremely rude.

One of our worst ten nights booked through booking com this year. Why? We choose exclusive places where there are less people, hotels have unique locations. For that purpose, the hotel Forte Rose in Montenegro was also chosen. The location of the hotel is unique, the peninsula, the nature is great. However, contacting Hercog Novi only 6 times a day, after 18.00 hours, it is possible to order through the hotel (for 50 euros) only a special boat, which can arrive, for example, without lights and thus travel through the bay in the dark. We almost had an accident because the same fishing boat with a spinnaker was traveling at sea.. The hotel environment is neat and well-maintained, except for villas 7,9,11. There is mold in the rooms, in the beds. The administration has been informed about it. We lived in villa 9. It was simply impossible to sleep in bed, because the smell of mold is so strong that it makes you dizzy. In addition, the kitchen smells from 6 am to 11 pm if you open the windows. The kitchen fan is so loud that it can even wake up a dead person :). I don't think the condenser filters have been changed since opening?... 1000 layers of dust... Smoking is allowed in Montenegro, in restaurants, cafes, hotels. Our neighbor in villa no. 7 tried to smoke us, because he was smoking on the balcony (there are balconies on the other side and the smell of smoke lingers in our room) until 3 am:(... Management, who has well mastered the art of talking... The guy who worked at the reception could only say after 7 days of our life, "why did you live and be silent for 7 days?" His way of solving it was to send a maid the next day to try to clean the mold from the bed with chlorinated lime, which caused an even stronger smell in the room and we refused to live in it. Breakfast is plentiful, but the same for 10 days. No management found either in the kitchen or in the service.

We loved the quiet location, the sea and the beach/patio area. The sea was crystal clear and I prefer a concrete beach over sand every time. If we wanted do do a little more then there was a regular taxi boat across to Hercig Novi & back several times a day. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets and towels were changed most if not every day. The resort was kept spotless - the ladies worked super hard. Breakfast was plentiful, albeit never quite what we ordered. The Forte Rose House wine was divine.

Service was always interesting, the waiters all spoke some English, but nothing was ever written down, so we never got quite what we asked for, if at all. There were a lot of staff, all working 12+ hours 7 days per week. We asked to change our initial room (room 12) as it overlooked the back of the kitchen, so we got the exhaust from the extractor if we opened the patio door or tried to sit on the balcony, the receptionist did manage to find another room after a couple of days and our 2nd room (number 6) was so much better.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Forte Rose Resort, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The swimming pool area was a delightful oasis, complete with comfortable loungers and attentive staff ready to cater to my every need. The on-site restaurant served delectable dishes that satisfied my taste buds, and the private beach area provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling pampered and relaxed. What truly sets the Summer Resort Property apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and always available to assist with any request or inquiry. Their genuine care and attention to detail truly made me feel like a valued guest. The location of the Forte Rose Resort is also worth mentioning. Nestled amidst picturesque surroundings, it offers a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Whether you're looking to relax near pool, indulge in water sports, or simply unwind on the pristine beach, this resort has it all. In conclusion, my experience at the Forte Rose Resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the luxurious accommodations to the outstanding service, every aspect of my stay was truly remarkable.

The view

While the view was no doubt amazing, the overall experience is much, much less than advertised. For one, there was only one of the purported two restaurants open or ever open. The menu from the one restaurant up and running was very limited, expensive and not great, also the stuff loves to take their time to take your order or do anything for you. So you pretty much work around their schedule. Despite these limited eating options, you will be scolded and shamed for even attempting to bring in outside food to your room of by the beach.The staff are neutral or a little hostile to requests. The rooms are prone to power outages and the room itself is nothing special. The swimming can be pretty and fun, while often slimy. There is dangerous, winding, well-paved roads that take you way, way out of your way for similarly limited food and entertainment options. I just walked away feeling like everything I asked for was eligible for “no” and they opted for “no” more often than not. Save your time and money and stay somewhere else.

Location is very good and staffs were friendly, kindness and very helpful .

I had a problem facilities of resort without them. For example, there is no refrigerator in my room and so there is a closet hanger, but there is no place to hang it in the closet. It is too funny because you paid many more money rather than other places , you met these problems.
