Luxury apartment in Grand Venetian

Refrigerator was leaking and not fixed. Garbage not emptied. Basics like paper towels, soap, dishwashing sponge and detergent not provided. Kitchen towel needs replacement. Only one wine glass. Mismatched cutlery. No clothes washer in hindsight would be great as no place to clean the beach towels and no extras.

Bed bugs invested. Biten to the point of being ill. Didn't like our stay. Horrible vacation.

We booked the unit for 10 nights. We stayed 5 since we figured out the bed was infested with bed bugs. I was badly bitten and went to the hospital for treatment. The doctor reviewed the photos of the bed and our bites and confirmed it was bed bugs. I have attached the doctors report so you can see the proof. The report is in Spanish. You can use google translate app to convert to English. I am also attaching pictures of some of my bites and pictures of the disgusting mattress and pillows. My husband was also bitten but was sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room so less sever. BEWARE the property manager is still refusing to give us any part of our money back even though he has received the proof from booking.com as well as directly from me via the booking.com website twice. He is a liar and continues to say he has received no proof. He said no one has complained before. NO ONE ELSE FIGURED IT OUT. Most people don’t stay as many nights. The place is infested. He is not owning up and correcting the situation instead keeping our money and putting other in harms way. I started noticing bites on day 2 but didn’t think much of it being on vacation. However, day 2-5 every morning the increase in very bad bites (seeping huge red bites) including on my face kept showing up. At this point I had many bites maybe 40ish. I knew at that point this wasn’t a normal bug bite situation and suspected bed bugs. I have heard about bed bugs but never been exposed. We watched a YouTube video on how to determine if a mattress has bed bugs. It was obvious from the information provided in the video that the bed was invested. The mattress has very bad bed bug trackings all over it including rusty or reddish stains on the mattress caused by crushed bud bugs, dark fecal spots, and eggsheels. We have pictures of the mattress as well as my bites and a complete report from the doctor who saw us at the hospital. He examined our bites as well each.
