GBThe large sunny terrace with spectacular sea views was the big bonus. It also looked over a beautiful park and was a very pleasant 20/25 minute walk to the main town.
The furnishings were very traditional Portuguese /old fashioned which is a matter of taste. The kitchen utensils were strange in that there were ENORMOUS saucepans but no smaller ones, plus we had to buy an oven dish as there weren't any for oven cooking. The washing machine leaked onto the floor. It's advertised as having 3 bedrooms but what isn't mentioned is that in order to get to the third bedroom, you have to walk through Bedroom 2, past people lying in bed, which for a family is probably not a problem, but for couples sharing the apartment, is definitely not suitable and potentially embarrassing.

The beds were very small (my bf is 190 cm tall) and the cleaner could've come at least once in a week.
GBAbsolutely wonderful stay with a beautiful view of Funchal and it’s less then a 10 mins walk from Ronaldo home and museum. There are so many choices of restaurants and bars within a matter of a few minutes walk . The 3 bedroom apartment is delightful. clean,bright and wonderfully decorated . I throughly enjoyed my short stay . I look forward to coming back this time for a longer.

GBThe apartment was very clean and welcoming. It was a great price for the property especially in the central location that it is. A real bargain! The place is very spacious with plenty of room for all of us. There was plenty of towel’s available and felt like a home away from home. It is only a short 20 min drive from the airport, which was great. Lots to do close by. We loved going down Monte in the wicker baskets, which was great fun about 10 mins away by car. Look forward to staying here again

GBAbsolutely brilliant from start to finish! Very spacious, traditional & clean apartment. Great location with a short 10 minute walk into town. Massive balcony with beautiful views facing the sea. Cristiano Ronaldo’s house & museum is literally 5 mins away. There’s a great restaurant called Beef & Wine at the bottom of the hill too plus Reid’s palace hotel is close by. We were a party of 4 adults and 1 teen and all loved our stay. This was a short trip but will definitely be staying here again!
