The location in a hilltop medieval village was exceptional. Despite the hot weather, the breeze blew all the time. There are windows on three sides which guaranteed air flow.The window looked out at the sea and the bells of the church next door(which did not ring at night). There is a small terrace with a cafe table, chairs and a sun shade. Across the street is a great pizzeria and a few steps away is a bar for coffee.

The only downside was access to the apartment via a narrow spiral staircase. Carrying a big suitcase, it was a challenge. But a challenge only to be met only upon arrival and departure.
