Casa Vicolo Volpe

The location is fantastic. It's literally less than 5 minutes from the heart of the city and 2 minutes away from the Etruscan arch. There was no breakfast offered, but I was not expecting one. The place has a kitchenette and all the basic things for preparing one's own food. There was coffee and a moka coffee maker.

The place itself is nice, but a little bit of attention to the décor would make it much better, especially the tablecloth and the bed cover. Investing in a few things to make the place look nicer would be a great improvement, because the room is spacey and comfortable. There is one thing that is awful, however, and that should be very easy to fix: the Internet connection. Often there was no connection to the Internet and when there was, it was pathetically slow. In a world where one needs good Internet connection for virtually everything, taking care of this would go a long way in making this place top.

The room had character

The two flower frames hanging did not match the room's character.

The location is excellent, pretty much in the heart of the centro storico.

The WiFi is very poor. Lacking overall cleanliness. The hot water boiler in the bathroom serves one and a half person.. The electricity fell out several times, during the moment where extra heating was used in the bathroom. There is no warm water kettle in the kitchen, no oven, no microwave, and a malfunctioning stove that doesn't have the power to boil water. The dishes and cutlery needed cleaning before using. The host does nothing but texting, even before the stay, but never showed up in person. We stay very often in apartments as we need an equipped kitchen. However, this place was far beneath our expectations and is in nothing comparable to other apartments. We left one day earlier.

Good location, clean, easy to communicate in English with owner/employee, check-in was possible earlier then it's written on page.

The door is next to the entrance door so every time someone is coming back you think your door is opening. If you have trouble sleeping I recommend to use earplugs.

Location to city

Kitchen not clean, dirty glass left on drainer. Cooker top not cleaned. Poor provision of glasses cutlery and plates. Poor directions to property. Misleading information suggesting parking available, but only available in multi-storey car park at 19 euros per day some distance away.

I had a really nice stay! The exchange of the key was easy & uncomplicated and the apartment had everything I needed :) Additionally the location is really good (central, but quite at night). I recommend going to the cafe (it's called pinturicchio cafe + kitchen) across the street. Thanks for the amazing stay! :)
