Estancia El Solar

Posizione strategica nel cuore di Arequipa. La struttura é una piccola gemma, molto caratteristica, pulita e calda.

Colazione disponibile solo se viene comunicato la sera prima l'orario in cui si intende farla: nessuna possibilità di avere qualsiasi cosa take-away se si hanno escursioni prima delle 07:30 (cosa abbastanza anomala considerando che tutte le escursioni partono minimo alle 06:00; e non capisco la difficoltà dato che la colazione altro non é che pane, uova e frutta).

The breakfast was very nice, the staff were friendly and helpful and the place was very relaxed despite being so well-connected and in the centre of everything. We really enjoyed our stay

Pour commencer je m’était trompé de date, l’établissement a accepté une annulation gratuite. Ensuite le personnel a été superbe, très arrangeant, que ce soit pour le check-in ou la bagagerie. La chambre était tres bien, très propre. La literie était agréable et le petit déjeuner convenable. L’hôtel se situe pas loin du centre historique. Je recommande!

We loved our stay! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The hotel views were stunning and we enjoyed the breakfast, cleanliness and comfort of this place. Hot water was amazing! We loved the location and it was quiet in the evenings. Would happily go back to Estancia!

The location was great and the architecture of the property was lovely

We booked the ‘nicest’ room category with two double beds. While the room was large, the bathroom was EXTREMELY small. The shower, toilet and sink were crammed into the tiniest space and the water only went lukewarm. The room was also very cold. The room is located between the reception and the breakfast area and is extremely poorly insulated. You can hear absolutely everything and the staff make no effort not to bang doors after 12AM. In addition, the hotel is located on an extremely busy street so the noises from buses, cars etc. is very prominent. We could get barely any rest with all the noise and how cold it was. From the beginning, the one receptionist was very rude. He seemed to be annoyed that we couldn’t speak Spanish - we tried to communicate with apps but he kept speaking to us in Spanish. (hospitality might not be the right job then…) Breakfast is simple but fine. they are extremely strict on when you eat it. You have to indicate the exact time the day before.
