The host, Mada, kept me well-informed about directions and arrival arrangements. The apartment was exceptionally clean and exceeded our expectations. The crisp white linen and towels made us feel at home instantly. The amenities, especially the veranda with its comfortable couch, offered a stunning view of the mountains and fresh blossoms—a true haven of tranquility and connection. Despite being so close to the central town of Clarens, it was wonderfully quiet. Thank you for the firewood and gorgeous fire placed that kept the apartment warm. We absolutely adored our stay and will definitely be back!

I have one requested. We are spoiled with large towels. Please consider these and the stay will be 20 out of 10.

It was clean and the location is perfect you can literally go to any restaurant you want

The room we booked didn’t have the stove and braai stand therefore we had to Go eat out and that was not the plan as we bought groceries

It was close to everything, and exceptionally clean.

We struggled with the temperature of the water, and the drainage system in the other bathroom was bad.

Perfect accommodation. Had everything one would want for a weekend stay. Close to Clarens centre. No need to use your car. Host was friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit Mon Cheri again.

A suggestion: please consider putting shelves or something similar on the wall under the TV to put suitcases, parcels, etc on, instead of on the floor. Small mats next to each side of the bed would be welcome when getting out of bed. Cement floor is cold!!
