GBWe stayed at Urban Gem for a couple of nights before heading to Syros and we were so fortunate to find such a lovely Apartment! Tim and Nick have clearly put their heart and soul into this place... it really shows. They have great taste!!! 👌 Its in a very convenient place for exploring Athens via the metro across the street and if you are catching a ferry its 5 minute walk to the port. Its has a lift, it has great lication, its very clean, it's spacious, it has wonderful outside space.. its unique! ....... you could not ask for more! The balcony is amazing to relax on 😁 Thank you Nick and Tim... we highly recommend your lovely apartment

ITUbicazione ottimale, vicina al porto, a numerosi locali per mangiare cibo di ogni tipo e alla fermata metro Dimotiko Teatro, da cui si raggiunge agevolmente l'aeroporto di Atene. Casa confortevole, fornita di tutto il necessario (e oltre) e arredata con gusto. Host simpatico e disponibile.

GBFamily of 4 stayed the night prior to a cruise. The location was excellent as it allowed us to get the metro from the airport to Dimotiko Theatro (one end of the line to the other) and a very short walk to the apartment. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and suggested a very local souvlaki place (highly recommended) for dinner and pointed out some bakeries and convenience stores. With 2 young children, the play park across the road was ideal too. The apartment itself was very well decorated and comfortable with all the amenities for a short or longer stay. Highlight for us was the balcony - it's huge and has a number of comfortable seats and areas to sit. Sitting out there having a beer in the evening was very relaxing while the kids were in bed. Taxi to the cruise port in the morning through the Freenow app was about €9. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again if we're cruising from Piraeus.
There wasn't anything we didn't like, but one thing others might want to be mindful of is the church bells on a Sunday morning. They're very loud. Saying that, the kids slept through the first round of bells.

ZAIt was spotless clean. The bed was comfortable and there were nice basic kitchen facilities. Nice balcony Location close to centre and 15 mins to ferry.
Bathroom cramped . WC was no leg space. Entrance and street a bit dowdy
BEVriendelijkheid en de gastvrij van de gastheer was top!
Misschien de ligging, kleine drukke straatjes, geen plek voor met de eigen wagen te gaan. Maar voor ons was de uber dan weer ideaal!!
