Anchor Head Hotel

Breakfast room was full with coach visitors who had to leave early si I couldnt have any breakfast.

Would have liked bigger beds. But the bed are very comfy

It is good value, clean, and the people I met were nice. My room had a fabulous view of the sea.

The property is quite tired, but this was reflected in the price. I wasn’t expecting The Ritz. No fault of the Hotel, but parking is quite difficult in the area. Luckily, I was able to park two minutes walk away.

Very clean, lovely location and we were fortunate enough to have a sea view room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent.

Parked outside with the blue badge But there is street parking if you search Our large room was warm bright with a sea view Lift to all floors breakfast was very nice We had a 3 course meal on our last evening Mushroom soup was lovely Fish and chips And home made bread and butter pudding was so tasty the bar was fairly priced and entertainment every evening In all an enjoyable stay

Amazing weekend at the Anchor Head, all of the staff were really helpful and friendly. Great views from the lovely bar area and restaurant and an easy walk down to the front. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing I didn't really like, hotel is a little but dated in some areas but that's to be expected and certainly wouldn't put me off staying there again, the amazing staff more than made up for it

Lovely staff who were very welcoming. Comfortable bed. Ensuite had a box shower with powerful running water. I asked them for more mugs in my room and they were very quick about it.

Only issue was the toilet was right on top of the bathroom door so difficult to close the door for privacy.
