Spacious and nicely decorated. Peaceful spot beside a little trail, although we didn’t go far because of the time and the trail was muddy.

Could have offered a bit more for breakfast. But appreciated the bread for toast and butter, milk and coffee.

Staff could not be more helpful. We’re fantastic. Parking was much appreciated given one of our party has disability issues.

Cleanliness is well below were it needs to be. Very old pillows and we slept without doonas on because didn’t feel clean. Disappointed l have to write this because with better cleaning and updated linen and pillows this would make for a top place to stay,

There’s only one thing I didn’t like. In the advertisement the breakfast was described as fabulous which is not how I would have described it. Fabulous to me means something along the lines of a cooked breakfast. There was a loaf of bread, a dish of cold sachets of butter, small sachets of jam, sachets of coffee, tea bags and a pint of whole milk. Not really what I would call fabulous!

Very comfortable and very clean

It was clean, great communication, lovely quiet area. Easy access to A5 and great stop off for our onward trip to Wales.

It was a great place to stay but little extras such as more choice for breakfast and fresh coffee would have made it perfect.
