GBGBGreat location. Sauna, hot tub, fireplace were all great features. Electric heating kept the lodge warm in January. It could have easily be 10 out of 10 if little things had a bit more attention.
The owners moved our stuff from one lodge to another after check-in while we went to the shop and didn’t think it would be appropriate to text or call us…. We came back to find someone in what we thought was our hot tub 😅 No towels and it doesn’t say that on description. Communication could be better.
GBEnd of season everything shut down quite almost deserted. Perfect for us two,wanting privacy and solitude. Hot tub steps away from front door secluded and very private. Dark early naked early😘 No interference from staff owners or neighbours. Lodge a little tired dusty and old fashioned but comfy clean enough, warm and well kitted out with the basics and a wee bit more. No extra charge for electricity . No internet no phone and standard tv .
No towels ! Bedroom window swollen open( can’t close), super cold one night Recycling bins hadn’t been emptied out for our arrival( just missed) Windows open on arrival ( cold on entry). No cloths for cleaning. I’d have wiped up better if I’d have had access to cloths.

GBProperty was not cleaned prior to us checking in and owner stated this to us, appeared a little tired in the kitchen. Owners were not helpful and didnt take on board feedback and rejected any feedback unless positive. Could not wait to leave after 1 day.
GBProperty is outstanding for a relaxing getaway would 100% recommend. Loved the Sauna and the hot Tub and the log burning fire.

GBThe location is great if you want some peace and quiet and good walking loved the hottub and sauna especially after a long hike Very relaxed feeling about the whole area
Shame the bar and restaurant near by was closed but not that much of an issue
