There was no pub or resturant in the village so we were unable to eat out without driving somewhere.

The house is high-end in every way - the furniture, design, facilities, space, and of course the dramatic views. Someone thought of every possible detail to ensure a flawless experience, down to the available trail maps and travel guidebooks. It is set in a quiet part of the island, but is easily accessible and a short drive from most must-see spots, and the town has nearby convenience stores and cafes.

Not a single complaint, not even a far-fetched one.

Beautiful place—you must have a car though to get to it and to get around.

We had no water for the first two days we were there—the rental company sort of kept us informed, it was a hassle though with 5 people and no showers. We would have it for a few minutes and would fill up buckets and pans so we could cook, etc. I realize that this was not an issue that the owners could deal with, I would have liked a bit more communication about what was happening as it was not clear what was going on until the end—when we were told it was a broken pipe somewhere.
