Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu

とても親切なスタッフの方でした．

致し方ないことだと思いますが、少し廊下のカビ臭さが気になりました． 低層階に宿泊していたら満足できなかったと思います。

Interesting hotel, not worth the money. Service excellent. Rooms tiny, with condensation problems (wet floors and steamed up mirrors). Balconies are postage stamp size. Don't order pasta arabiatta, the amount of chilli would kill an elephant. Food & beverage way too expensive (Shangrila Hotel is same F&B prices, but 100 times a better hotel). A beer is P230, that's a rip off. Not even cold. A coffee is P230, that's a rip off. However, no point to stay at a hotel when you have to venture outside for coffee, beer, food. Oh, be warned, the taxi driver will try to charge P550 to take you to the Airport from Mövenpick. He sees a wealthy tourist and doubles his price.

Under construction. Did not say in their website. Beach is small and a construction zone. Rooms and property overall cleanliness is poor. Seems there is no GM at this property. Not one who cares anyway. Dave yourself the stress, time and money and book the Shangrila or somewhere else.

Nothing was to expectations.

The staff were fantastic, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight, with an excellent selection. The location is convenient, with plenty of nearby options for dining and massage.

The property is falsely advertised on Booking.com. There is no “Ibiza Restaurant,” which was the main reason we chose to stay. We were very disappointed and felt misled—both Booking.com and Mövenpick are presenting inaccurate information on this platform. See photo attached, screen shot taken today. The property itself is very tired, and the photos are clearly outdated. For example, the main pool has two sections with holes as the base has broken away. The area where the Ibiza Restaurant was is now just rubble and under construction. From the beach you are looking directly at a construction site.
