The property is clean and very well taken care of. It’s within walking distance of downtown Volcan. And most of all, the staff is incredible! They went out of their way to make my family and I feel like we were their only guests. They were so kind and thoughtful. We will be staying here whenever we come to Volcan!

Met the owner, whom we enjoyed. The room was spacious and had a large kitchen area, which we appreciated. It was great being about to make coffee and hot tea and to have a refrigerator. It was an easy walk into town and convenient to Cerro Punto, Amistad Park, Birders Paradise ( highly recommend) and more. Also like the chairs and table on the front porch.

The hotel is right next to the main street, so there is traffic noise. A wall buffers a little and we slept fine, but would have liked to have known. There was a dripping sound coming from the toilet. The microwave only worked if we unplugged and replugged and used one setting. But we figured it out and it did heat things up.

Location was good, easy to find, close to town center. Staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable porch arrangement. Bed was clean, comfortable.

Water pressure in bathroom was low. Water never did get hot. Toilet tank leaked- general condition was mediocre. No bedside lamp
