The apartment is a unique experience

When we arrived at the apartment, we were blown away! The terrace and the view are simply amazing. It is, or at least seems like it is, right where the old city wall would've been. The San Biagio gate is practically a stone's throw away when you walk out of the building at street level. Of course I should say that the inside is nice, too! 😊 Everything was spotlessly clean, the furnishings were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We didn't get to meet the host in person, but she was extremely friendly and helpful in our communication. We had to book last minute because of an unexpected extra night in Lecce because of a train strike on the day we were to leave. The place where we'd been staying was already booked for the night, so we had to move. We were so lucky that this apartment was available! The host wanted to make our transition as stress-free as possible, so she let us know as soon as the place was ready for us to come over. She gave clear instructions for getting the key and we got in with no problem. There's a nice cafe with wonderful pastries just a couple doors down from the building entrance, and a great gelato place just a little farther. I can't say enough about how great this apartment and its location are. I wish we could've stayed longer! Highly recommended.

I hate to even mention this, but it could be pretty important for some people. There are stairs. A lot of them. My husband counted 81. And there's no lift (elevator). So ... this might rule the apartment out for some who can't (or don't want to) do the climb, with or without bags. We had quite a bit of stuff, so it was no small task to get it up there. BUT ... if you can do it, I think that you, like us, will get there and instantly feel like it was worth it! The location is magical. You're basically on top of a building (hence the "attic" name) with gorgeous views out over the old town, which are awesome day or night. The climb ended up feeling like just part of the experience and a small price to pay for such a wonderful place. Still enthusiastically recommended for those who are able to get up there under their own power!

The view is fantastic and the equipment are complete which makes more like your own stay!

Stairs but is understandable

It’s absolutely amazing. Located on a rooftop of an old building in the old town, it offers a fantastic view of the old town and a full privacy. Also Anna is an amazing host. All in all, our stay was absolutely incredible and we will be coming back.
