The property had been cleaned
The front door and hallway put us off for the start. Dirty smelling hallway. The apartment was clean but smelled foist and damp. We had to keep the windows in the living room and kitchen closed because of the rats outside in the overgrown yard. We actually kept the blinds closed too. No one wants to see seagulls eating dead rats when having breakfast. Wouldn’t recommend.

Location was fantastic for us. We walked or got the tram (9 min walk) everywhere. A great place for Murrayfield Stadium and for Edinburgh. Apartment was well equipped and comfy.

Only one mirror (in the bathroom). Shower a little cramped. Definitely needed some simple instructions on using the TV. View onto 'yard' at the back was grim.

We stayed there for a night and it was a very pleasant experience. We took an Uber from Waverly station and it was a short ride . The apartment is conveniently located.... There is a sandwich and coffee shop right next to it...a Tesco Express 100m away..The check-in process was smooth.. We had received a detailed email on the check-in process. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Comfortable cozy beds in both rooms...a wooden rack to keep your stuff, all the appliances and cutlery in the kitchen were new. The bathroom was also good.. Hot water is available at all times . The Edinburgh castle was a 20 min walk. There were lots of nice cafes and restaurants close by. Overall the stay was very comfortable and pleasant. Would highly recommend.
