Das Gebäude in dem sich das Hotel befindet, ist ein ehemaliges Waisenhaus und vieles blieb erhalten. Die Räume sind extrem hoch, die Steinböden original und der umliegende Park ist wunderschön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da wir leicht gehbehindert sind, ist es etwas weitläufig. Uns hat‘s gut gefallen!
Das Abendessen war eine Enttäuschung. Es war schmackhaft, aber etwas lieblos zubereitet. Wir hatten als Primo Farfalle mit Thunfisch (aus der Dose) und danach ein Zucchetti-Racotta-Törtchen (sehr gut) mit einer Salatgarnitur. Dafür haben wir für zwei Personen 40 (!) Euro bezahlt. Wasser und Caffè gingen extra …. Da ist viel Luft nach oben! Der Speisesaal dürfte etwas ansprechender gestaltet werden. Das Frühstück haben wir ausgelassen, da war uns der Weg zu weit!
