Hostal Los Chamos

Hôtel bien situé avec des équipements fonctionnels.

Le gérant de l’hôtel est odieux. On nous annonce un paiement par carte avant de nous dire que l’appareil est cassé. L’employé nous demande d’appeler le gérant pour trouver une solution, qui nous dit agressivement au téléphone que nous n’avons qu’à annuler la réservation si nous ne sommes pas contents. On nous propose ensuite un transport jusqu’au Costa Rica, le patron est censé s’occuper de la réservation mais ne le fait jamais. Quand son employé l’appelle devant nous pour avoir une réponse, il dit simplement que ce n’est plus possible.

Esto es ajeno al hostal, hay un gran congestionamiento que no hay donde estacionarse.

La ubicación es sencillamente perfecta, a solo media calle de la playa. Esto hizo la experiencia mucho más cómoda. ​El desayuno fue muy completo, superando las expectativas. A diferencia de otros alojamientos que solo ofrecen café y pan, aquí recibimos una selección variada. ​El anfitrión es amable y atento, haciendo la estancia muy agradable. Cada cama tuene su ventilador y la cocina facilitó mi estancia.

The staff were super friendly and very attentive! They run a very nice, clean, safe, relaxed, structured hostal, which has been so wonderful! The communication was great, I love that! No guessing game or surprises here. We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms, which both were lovely. The rooms are roomy, tidy, well maintained, and super clean. The room downstairs had 2 comfortable beds (both double beds), AC (that gets chill!!), 2 strong ceiling fans (that swoosh all that chill air around, lovely), and a *private* bathroom (clean & roomy toliet & shower area), it was very comfortable and spacious! Well worth the price in San Juan!! The room upstairs had 1 comfortable double bed, 2 strong fans (a huge floor one & a ceiling), and a *shared* bathroom (clean & roomy), and maintained cleanliness our whole stay!! Again, well worth the price in San Juan!! Both mornings we were given free breakfast (a thick fluffy pancake w/butter, syrup, or chocolate syrup if you want) with delicious coffee (had 2 cups) which for us as coffee drinkers is a blessing!!! The patio/chill area is so nice to relax, do some work, eat, or sit and talk to who you're with or other travelers. And if you stay upstairs, the view is amazing from your window, but even better they have hammocks on the balcony to chill in and see the view from there!!

La posizione e la gentilezza e disponibilità dello staff

Non mi è piaciuto, lo trovo un po’ squallido, camera piccola con quattro letti uno attaccato all’altro, abbiamo pagato una camera per avere l’aria condizionata, ma non funzionava bene e abbiamo dovuto chiedere l’Intervento più volte anche in piena notte. Colazione scarsa. Ci sono tanti ostelli, potete scegliere.
