The rooms were very comfortable, the only issue was a noisy macerator in our bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and all fresh. The bed was comfy

Breakfast was very nice. Not a buffet style to help yourself, but a reasonable selection of options including a good English. The owners showed us most of the rooms before we left, and they are all superb. Some rooms larger than others, but all very nice.

No complaints. Only to say it's not central Lyme Regis, but a short drive out of town.

Lovely location, felt secluded and peaceful whilst still being a very short and easy drive into Lyme Regis or Seaton. Our room was exceptional, very clean and well equipped. We were upgraded to a more spacious suite free of charge due to another cancellation.

Very friendly staff. Made you feel very welcome and the room was spotless. Bed very comfortable and great facility’s. Easy parking. All beautifully decorated and really enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast and service excellent

We were down for two days and had booked two nights in Honiton at a P..Inn. We stayed one night and I decided that I wanted to spoil my wife and find something better for the second night (even though we had already paid PR...Inn) Saw Dower House and the lovely photos and booked. When we arrived we were the ONLY GUESTS in the whole hotel. The hotel is run by a couple and we were met by the husband who welcomed us and informed us that we were the only guests and that they were giving is the SMALLEST ROOM in the hotel as none of the other rooms had been made up. The room was tiny - virtually a box room - Springy bed. The host stated that they did not have a housekeeper that day so none of the other rooms had been made up. We had arrived at 3 PM and I told the host that we were going to exeter for the evening and would only return at midnight - so could he not make up a BETTER room (As are the only guests) which he said he was not prepared to do. We came back from Exeter at 11.30 and the room was cold. THere is a radiator but the radiator was cold. I turned the dial to maximum and it remaind cold indicating that either the system was off or that their was air in the radiator. I want downstairs and the radiatiors in the hotel lounge were hot. So I rang the bell and the wife came downstairs and I explained the situation and I was told that I had woken her up for that ??? And to turn up the radiator in the room - She came in to the room and herseld turned the radiator knob (which was already on) again complaining bitterly that we had chosen to wake her up (Hello we are her paying guests and COLD) - Radiator stayed cold all night. In the morning the wife obviously thinking that this review could be avoided offered as a tour to see the other rooms (Beautiful rooms / suites with free standing baths/ rooms with SPACE - that ANYONE would be happy to stay in so that NEXT TIME we could enjoy what the hotel offered) I dont think they got it.
