Village Anto Fira

Konstandina (hope spelling is close enough) our host was very good, always available and helpful. The location for us was fine - only 10 minutes up the hill to Fira. Aircon was very effective and the solarium on the roof was good. Washer was very handy.

The kitchen could be better equipped. It lacked a bread knife and carving knife and we only had two regular knives, 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 plates.... so were washing up after each use. I perhaps could have asked, but we managed. The Sofa bed is very firm. It could do with a mattress topper in case anyone wants to use it. And the 2 plate hob is odd - never seen before so didn't use. Internet was unreliable.

If you like unique, boutique properties, you will love this place. It had the feel of a traditional Greek cave home but all the amenities of a small resort, complete with robes. Great ocean views; the kitchen was ideal for making breakfasts and keeping Santorini wine cold. (The host provided a bottle to get us started.) For the best view, book a second floor room.

Unrelated to the resort, a car is recommended to enjoy Santorini. Just know that like many small hotels and villas in the islands, it can be a bit hard to find as Google and Apple Maps are not always accurate. Plan for extra time and to arrive during daylight. Don't be put off by the area near the villa. While it looks a bit run down, it is perfectly safe, very quiet and peaceful.

Pas de spa disponible alors que c’était écrit dans l’annonce. L’endroit est à 1,4km du centre mais il y a du dénivelé, donc ça monte beaucoup.
