Cynthia and Benjamin are amazing hosts, we had freshly made breakfast every morning, the location was all we need

Staying here was the biggest gift I could give to myself. Cynthia and Ben are extremely helpful and know just the right people in Iquitos. The cabin has everything you could ask for and the bed is very comfortable. Their dog welcomes you and I was lucky enough to see Ben feed the monkeys. A little paradise in the jungle with amazing internet! Would highly recommend staying here

This place was magical, surrounded by nature you feel so connected to the world around you. I truly enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of animals and the rain, it was so serene.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We loved the quietude of this removed little sanctuary. It's the perfect place to retreat, restore, and rest. We took the bus into Iquitos, which was around 40 minutes, to stock up on groceries from the Belen Market. It's a remote area so, it's a bit of a voyage if you need to get some things. But, we enjoyed the expedition! The breakfast add-on at Amica Eco Station is a must. It was absolutely divine and we so appreciated the love and care they put into the food! Cynthia and Ben are wonderful people and were very attentive and responsive for any needs.

Amaca was everything I hoped for - remote, rustic tranquil. I was seeking closeness with nature and birdwatching. The area at and around Amaca was diverse, bird rich and access to a variety of habitats was easy. Benjamin was an exceptional host, showing me how everything worked in a sustainable and eco conscious way. We had insightful conversations about many topics of mutual interest. If you're looking for an upscale ecolodge, this place is not for you. If you're looking for simple functionality and a unique living experience immersed in the Peruvian white sand rain forest with peaceful vibes, look no further.

Access to food was a bit challenging. Either come prepared to cook your own in the adequate kitchen facilities provided or walk/drive/ bike to local restaurants which have limited hours.

Widlife, jungle, animals, nature

Location was great. Staff are kind and honest. Cynthia was genuine, helpful and willing to answer any questions she assisted me with the organization of a tour in Lima at an affordable price. Spacious room. exactly like the photos.

I didn't know there was breakfast.

Our hosts were so helpful, organising airport transfer etc. The accommodation was beautiful and clean, we really enjoyed visits from Gia the dog!
