Riad lala Drissia

Great location with a really nice rooftop. Very kind and friendly staff.

Wifi signal in the room on the terrace was weak and location on the google maps was incorrect so we had some troubles finding it (look for Le Tarbouche restaurant, the alley entrance is on the opposite side of the restaurant). Also, water in the shower was either cold or extremely hot.

Nice place. Bit tricky to find in the Medina and few minutes from parking. Very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Small but very pleasant sitting area. Comfortable bed.

All good except finding place on motorbike. Ended up driving through Medina..oops..Google..

Breakfast was nice and host was super friendly. No air conditioning or not on at the time so even though 'winter' was hot for us. Hard to find at first but they had someone greet us at the main gate when we arrived. Shower was not amazing, hot water was good but shower head and water got everywhere.

It was a standard accommodation, nothing outstanding.

The managers bad attitude regarding no hot water being available for 2 days.

Everything was absolutely perfect, we confused our flight and we were supposed to arrive the day before and Khalid didn't mind at all, we took another flight to Tanger and he helped us find a bus to arrive to Fes and we arrived around 3am and he sent someone to look for us so we'd arrive safe and sound to the Riad. During all our staying he made sure we were comfortable, he gave us orientations about places to visit and to see, about the culture there cause they are in Ramadan, he arranged for us an excursion to the desert which was AMAZING. Breakfast was handmade and I strongly suggest you have dinner there at least once, best meal than in most of restaurants around the medina. The Riad was beautiful, beautifully decorated and the cleaning perfect. The location just in the heart of the medina. Couldn't have chosen better place to be in Morocco for the first time. Thanks for everything!

Just that the hot water in our shower was coming and going from time to time during the shower, but you just have to get the trick, apart from that, everything perfect.

the staff and good location

Breakfast was lovely and made with care for the tourist. The female staff were very friendly and helpful. The terrace was a haven away from the hassle and people wanting to fleece you from your money.

We are independent travellers and parking was listed as valet parking. We booked the parking at the price costed and when we arrived it was increased by an additional 50%. We were possibly naive as it was a piece of waste ground and we didn't really feel that our vehicle was safe. This situation should have been upfront rather than having the feeling you were being scammed. The ground floor room was incredibly noisy and every time a light was switched on or noisy guests were toing and frowing at all times of the day you were disturbed. This included before daybreak. As a consequence we changed our plans. We have thought long and hard and we have decided that staying in a hotel and travelling into the Medina would be a less stressful option.

This is a nice Riad in a great location - just off the main Medina street, and close to the main parking area - just to the west of the Medina, which makes it very convienent if you have a rental car. Breakfast was OK, the manager was very helpful and friendly. I was offered dinner ( 150 D) however as I was the only guest, I decided to visit one of the very numerous eateries in the main street instead, so cannot comment on the evening meal. It is nicely decorated, my room was great.

Unfortinately the shower in my room was broken, the manager checked this in the morning, and Im sure by now it will have been fixed. Due to the position of the toilet - in a very tight space, I found it difficult to use, however, I guess originally Raids never had toilets in each room :-)

Khalid (manager) has been really kind and friendly. Every day once we arrived to the riad, We had a good talk with him and it was very nice. The breakfast has been amazing the 6 days of our stay. One day we had to leave really early and we got it to take away and was also very good. Towels were changed and room cleaned every day. The location is really good: very close to one of main streets, to the blue gate (main entrance to the medina) and to restaurants, shops….

Our room was in the basement floor, close to the living room and sometimes was noisy…. For us it was not a big problem because we woke up early everyday but sleeping longer than 09:00 would have been complicated. Anyway we are very happy with the riad Lala Drissia si we advice it at 100%

The staff were very kind and accommodating. I stayed here just for a night before I had to run off for orientation for class the next morning. Even though I didn’t have a lot of time to eat, they made me a fantastic breakfast and allowed me to leave my bags until I could check into student housing later that next day. It’s in a quieter part of the medina, so I was able to get a good night’s rest while there.

It’s a bit hard to find, but I like how quiet it is there.
