Togari Inn Suites

Great location! Lovely having an Onsen in the B&B. Sam and staff was very helpful to arrange ski and snowboard lessons. Nice breakfast!

Nothing. Just generally for Togari though you need to book ahead for taxis and restaurants.

The location of Togari Inn is great - just a couple of minutes walk from the ski school/ski rental/lift pass area and chair lift. Extremely friendly and helpful owners supported by an enthusiastic and cheerful team of staff. The fact that the owners are native English speakers helped a lot in our communications. The owners were extremely helpful in providing local advice and restaurant and taxi bookings. An excellent buffet breakfast and freshly made hot drinks. The Japanese-style family room with futons was extremely spacious with nice views, although some Westerners unfamiliar with this style of sleeping arrangement might feel more comfortable with the other types of rooms with "normal" beds. The bathhouse was great - a really nice way to freshen up and relax at the end of a day's skiing. The whole place had a very relaxed, unpretentious and family-friendly atmosphere.

The room had no private bathroom or toilet - by and large we were fine using the shared facilities, but a certain guest was very unhygienic in their use of facilities (to put it politely) and this made using the shared facilities unpleasant at times. I am sure this is not the norm, though, and was of course beyond the control of management.

New experience living in resort with tatami flooring and in a Airbnb setting.

The room has no hair dryer and no kettle to boil water to take medication and make coffee n tea.

Bath house was great ! Has a laundry facility which is perfect. Location is great and has a car park to get to neighbouring resorts if preferred. Curry house around the corner was amazing

Location, staff and style of property

Shared toilet and shower, only one shower for the facility and I reckon some areas required renovation or cleaning such as toilet and basins

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed the big bath and had a beautiful view from our room in the morning.

Common areas are a little rundown with threadbare carpet on the stairs, etc. We didn't mind, but if you come by city bus it's about a 15 minute walk from the bus stop to the inn.
