The location was spectacular. The lodging itself was amazing. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hospitality was unmatched. Walking distances to the Aldrees gas station, which has a small grocery store. A bit outside of the hustle and bustle of town, but the solitude was exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely return...and telling all of our friends and coworkers about this place!

Only one small thing...the step into the kitchen is subtle, and you have to be careful (trip hazard).

A very convenient and nice place in the middle of nowhere and everything at the same time. Great location to explore the Al-Ula surroundings via car. The pool area was very nice and appreciated by the whole family! Great host and support from the staff. Would highly recommend to others.

Some kitchen equipment and a dishwasher! Else, everything is great!

Amazing stay in Al Ula! Perfect place for our group of 10 — spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. Great location and very friendly hosts. Highly recommended!

The location and the ambiance of the place is very nice. Nice to spend your down time when not exploring the sites of AlUla and just stay in and around the property. The place is surrounded by very beautiful rock formations and the owner’s farm is very near. We were invited to explore the farm as well without extra charge.

We enjoyed our stay in Red Mountain Farms and we have no complaints. And we are planning to come back and will book this place again.

the red mountain farm is a stunning property. Very nicely decorated with well equipped kitchen in a very remote area. it is perfect for star gazing as you have hardly any light pollution and it is very quiet. it has a lovely pool built under a rock. the beds were comfy with good beddings. We received lots of towels so we also could use some for the pool. The air conditioning worked very well. Sultan is a very attentive host and is responding very quickly. He was even happy to arrange a visit to his farm to see the camels but unfortunately we then did not have time to take up his offer. the Wifi was really good which is important as you only have sporadic mobile data on this property. it is only 25 minutes away from Winterpark (if you take directly a left on the high way which is a bit illegal but the traffic is low) and 15 min away from Elephant rock.

Everything was absolutely fine. I use this section only to continue my positive review with some additional information as booking.com restricts the amount of text per box A few things to know when you want to book this property -I would recommend to have a car as it is so remote -there is now a very new gas station at the highway which also has a coffee/restaurant and a small grocery store, this is in theory in walking distance but you are much better with a car as you have also e.g. to buy drinking water. it is so close that you even can see it from the property, the walking would most likely be around 10 min? the drive about 4 min due to the condition of the road. -your main communication with Sultan is via whatsapp. so the best is to contact Sultan prior to your arrival and give him your mobile phone so he can send you all the details. When you arrive at the gas station park there and contact him again via whatsapp to inform him about your imminent arrival as you have mobile reception there, so he can send one of his employees to the property for the key exchange. -Sultan will send you a little map how to access the property. but it is also easy to find. when you leave the gas station southwards onto the highway you will see immediately a little gravel track in a right angle going downhill leading to an open gate. it is easy to find during the day, at night though it can be tricky. there is no sign at the high way for the property itself but there are some small street signs at the gravel road. follow the gravel road and it will bring you directly to the property -Sultan accepts payment of the property upfront via bank transfer or he also accepts cash.
