Para mí, la mejor experiencia en todo nuestro viaje en Marruecos. Fuimos muy bien acogidos por Omar (que habla un español fluido) y su encantadora familia. La cena fue deliciosa y abundante, igual que el desayuno. Aprendimos también sobre el estilo de vida bereber y los fósiles que se pueden ver por la zona a simple vista. Si algún día vuelvo a viajar por la zona, me volveré a alojar aquí sin duda.

L'accueil est idéal : thé à la menthe, dattes et olives du jardin de la famille, pain tout juste cuit au four traditionnel. Omar et sa femme sont d'une gentillesse incroyable, nous avons adoré échanger avec eux. Le petit déjeuner aussi était plus qu'à la hauteur : oeufs cuits au tajine et autres produits maison. C'est un véritable dépaysement d'être reçu dans cet hébergement.

Une immersion complète chez cette famille berbère. Nous avons tout apprécié : l'accueil, la générosité, le partage Le repas du soir et petit dejeuner succulant

The best welcome we had during our trip, very warm family. The rooms, service and hospitality are immaculate. Wished we could stay longer and will return for sure. Great location to visit the southeast part of Morocco. Delicious homegrown food.

L’accueil chaleureux, les repas savoureux, la tranquillité des lieux et la proximité des carrières de fossiles comme de Merzouga ont rendu notre séjour exceptionnel. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’authenticité de l’expérience auprès d’une famille berbère et la gentillesse d’Omar, de son épouse et de leur adorable petite fille.

There isn't enough space to explain this Sahara desert experience. Omar and Jahra own and run this dar north of Merzouga outside a little town called Merzane. It's an easy half hour drive to Merzouga if you want the high-pitched, tourist town. But if you want to stay with berbers, get to know them and have a feel for their lives, this is the place. First, Omar and Jahra are warm, welcoming, easy to be with, and happy to help. The dar is unique. Every corner is designed with an artist's eye. My room was extremely clean and comfortable - good bed, hot shower, lots of space. I spent three days there and wish I had three weeks. It was slow paced. Every morning, I had a fabuous breakfast with homemade bread, farm-fresh eggs, homemade butter, coffee/tea, plump dates, etc. Then on two of the days I sat in the garden or went for walks in the desert to relax and look for fossils. I had tasty dinners of tagine and couscous. One day I went to the Rissani market, Merzouga, Erg Chebbi and Khamlia to listen to music. But I was happy that I only did that one day. While I was staying at the dar a relative of Jahra's came by and gave me a henna treatment. I got to sit with women in the family and talk to them using google translate. I also watched Omar take care of sheep and his palm trees, and Jahra make bread in her oven in back of the house. And when I left she gave me one of her breads. This is a place to stay overnight or much longer. I've been in Morocco for about a month and this experience will be one of my most memorable.

Everything was exceptional.
