The best location you can get for walking the musk ox trail. The houses are beautiful with over 100 years history. The dinner is also fantastic. The three salon rooms are stunning!!!!

A bit crowded during breakfast time. Food was out when we arrive at seven the first night.

Uprofessionel personale. Receptionisten, bød ikke velkommen, men sad bare og gloede ind i en skærm. Man fik ingen informationer uden at spørge, hun virkede meget uengageret og uvenlig. Morgenmadsbuffeten var en farce. Der var kamp om både service og mad. Stedet var slet ikke gearet til at have så mange gæster. Og vi var der tre overnatninger.

For more budget-friendly options, the Kro serves up a pleasant selection. Don't miss the Kongsvoll Botanical Alpine Garden (Kongsvoll Botaniske Fjellhage), located just next door, it's a hidden gem well worth exploring.

While the staff is very polite and their command of English is certainly helpful for international guests, I was surprised to find that some of them did not speak Norwegian. As a sign of respect for the country and its local visitors, especially considering I personally witnessed three Norwegian-speaking guests leave due to communication issues, I believe it is important that staff are also able to communicate in Norwegian. I hope they are studying and will soon be able to offer service in Norwegian as well.

Ich glaube wir hatten einfach Pech. Es ist ein Pilger Hotel, daher auch sehr spartanisch, habe ich das einfach nur überlesen, ich weiß es nicht. Einzelbetten, im dunklen Holzvertäfelten Minizimmer. Ein Radio hing an der Wand es ging nicht. Dusche mega eng. Was soll ich noch sagen??? Na ja, das frühstück war gut. Im nachhinein habe ich mir die Bilder bei Booking angeguckt, sie sahen alle anders aus, als das Zimmer, was wir bekommen haben und obendrein war es teuer. Aber da oben ist die Auswahl an Hotels nicht groß, jedenfalls bei Booking com.

Zimmer sind für diesen Standard einfach zu teuer. Wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Es war in der Anzeige nicht ersichtlich, dass es sich um ein Pilger Hotel handelt.
