Stella Mare Eco Boutique House

Stella Mare is a family owned appartement and it shows in everything. Excellent facillities (awesome infinity pool), amazing cooking (by the mother of the family) but most of all, a warm and truely kind staff that make your holiday the best you can wish for.

We came to this part of Hvar to enjoy the beautifull Adriatic coast at its best. We stayed at Stella Mare for three days and could not find one single thing that could have been done better next time. You can not receive too much kindness.

Beautiful location with very pretty views. The owner and his wife are very friendly and helped us with a lot of information about things to do. They cooked us awesome vegetarian food on request.

Amazing property with Amazing Hosts. Mr. Teo and Ms. Nada were superb hosts and made our stay just amazing. Our entire family just loved the vibe of the pace! Amazing dinner, great breakfast and so many useful tips and recommendations that it made our remaining journey worthwhile as well. As you might have noticed ... a lot of Amazing!

Bliss of solitude, the pool overlooking the sea, relaxing breakfast setting, friendly host who gave me a lift to Jelsa when my taxi didn't show up.

Everything was amazing! The restaurant is excellent, the staff very friendly and the place is very beautiful. If you are looking to relax and enjoy nature this is the right choice. We had a great time!

Absolutely beautiful hotel, staff are exceptional and the pool is amazing, often very quiet or even have it to yourself which is really nice. The beach has so many coves and clear water and is a two minute walk. I liked the remoteness of the area, we hired a car, which I would recommend for the island, and also I would advise booking the car in advance as there seems to be short supply, especially if you need a child car seat as not all car hire places have them. Get a sea view apartment with a balcony facing the sea, the room we got was lower down and had hardly any views. I would stay here again 100% (maybe without a small child so I can enjoy those views in peace and not worry about a toddler) and also I would get a room with a better view.

Only comment is that whilst a kettle is supplied in the room, no tea or coffee is supplied. We had a 1yo with us so were often awake once she awoke at 5.30am before breakfast or room service so as new parents coffee is essential. The staff service is very attentive so if I remembered to ask I am sure they would have brought some. Also, we were there for 5 days and our room wasn't cleaned once, I'm not sure if this is part of the design for 'studio apartments' as they are more self catering, but I was a little surprised that they weren't cleaned at least once in that time, at least to empty bins etc. (Baby nappies in there!) We left the bin bag out the front and it was collected a day or so afterwards. But as we had no spare bin bags we had to use our old shopping bags.

Staying at Villa Stella Mare felt like visiting a good friend's house. The hosts were exceptionally friendly. Every morning the breakfast was delicious. They have a private restaurant with tables reserved only for their guests. They offer fresh seafood from their catch of the day, which was expertly prepared in a wood grill.
