Everything was fabulous

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was very cooperative and friendly.

The stay had its ups and downs. Initially, the check-in experience was quite frustrating — the name outside didn’t say “Doolv Guest House” as listed on Booking.com, which caused confusion. The staff on-site couldn’t find my booking at first, so I left and started looking for an alternative. An hour later, I got a call saying the booking had now been received. Whether it was a Booking.com glitch or their end, I can't say, but the process definitely needs improvement. The Family Suite B-02 had some plumbing issues. The WC tank wouldn't fill properly at first, and after a quick fix, it wouldn’t stop filling — so that remained unresolved throughout the stay. Also, the washroom has no exhaust, which is less than ideal, especially since it’s in the basement. On the positive side, the room was spacious and the staff was cooperative. A few suggestions: adding a couple of chairs and a small table in the room would make the space more usable, and a wall mirror or some kind of dressing arrangement would also be a welcome addition. Lastly, the property is currently rated 9.2 on Booking.com, which usually indicates an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. In my opinion, a score between 6.5 to 7 would be more accurate, based on the overall experience.
