"Great Homestay."

Great views, attentive staff, best evening meal of our trip so far, large and comfortable room. It was an oasis of calm after the rush and pollution of the centre.

Sky Edge homestay was a wonderful place to stay whilst in Kandy. It felt so homey, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast and dinner food was absolutely delicious. We stayed the night before and 2 nights after a trek in the Knuckle Mountains and it was so lovely to come back to the homestay afterwards. Mano was the perfect host, looking after us when we got sick and making sure we had everything we need. The property is up in the hills and 15 minute drive or so from Kandy but it’s easy to get a PickMe and nice to see suburban area of Kandy.

Really nice and big room, great food and spectacular view. We enjoiyed our stay thanks to the comfortable room and the really friendly owner. We could even park our TukTuk there.

Nice view, spacious room, good breakfast, friendly host.

Ants in the room, cables coming out of the wall. The laundry service was completely overpriced (about 12€ for one machine worth of laundry). Noisy surroundings.

This homestay was wonderful. The host was very welcoming. The mountain view room is absolutely stunning, with amazing views from the balacony. The room is clean and new. 10/10 would definitely stay again. The food was also incredible, especially the daal, the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Thank you for such a delightful stay.

"Wonderful stay"

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, where the hostess, despite her limited English, exudes a lovely energy and always greets us with a smile. We managed to understand each other perfectly. She took great care of us, hosting us warmly and preparing delicious meals. She even made us fresh juices and teas. The property is new and clean, albeit a bit uphill and far from the city and noise, which suited us perfectly. We rented a motorbike from her, which made getting around and exploring much easier. We highly recommend this place to everyone, as you will feel extremely comfortable and welcome here.

WiFi si very bad, but that is Sri Lanka I guess
