Willow Bungalow Quiet and secluded

The bathroom was great ( and clean) with a very good shower. The kitchen was well equipped ( although a couple of bowls and cups had not been washed particularly well) with toaster and kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits. Smart TV - but you need to use it on the relevant app as the signal is erratic. Beds were comfortable.

Strange little pathway to the place, which was flooded due to heavy rain, and later very slippery with leaves. Inaccessible I should imagine for mobility issues. Badly rutted and uneven carpark. Place appeared clean but had areas which hadn't seen a duster for months. Strange rope and wooden ornaments, shell decorated table and various other pieces scattered around, old fake flowers, all incredibly dusty, so sadly, set off my allergies! Things like old guest books and coasters, were a bit grubby and sticky , easy to forget those I know but important if you have different people coming and going. Sofa smelt a little 'doggy' and the fluffy cushions were a bit matted. Lots of instructions to follow, including stripping the beds which revealed grubby mattress covers with hairs and other bits, slightly stained. So glad we weren't aware of that at the start of our stay. Outside looked a little dilapidated with old buoys and netting draped around. Expectations from the photos were high, but very much not met, so it was disappointing , definitely NOT worth £100 a night.

Als je iets aan Sam vroeg kreeg je vrij snel antwoord. Ook had hij tips voor je. De badkamer en de keuken zagen er netjes uit.

Bij aankomst de rommel in de voortuin. Is toch je eerst indruk. De vloerbedekking op de grond mag wel vervangen worden. En in de aanbouw zat geen sfeer. De stoelen in de achtertuin zijn aan vervanging toe. Dit nodigt niet uit om buiten te gaan zitten.

Sam the host greeted us and was really warm and friendly which set the tone perfectly for our stay. We had amazing communication which explained how to reach the house and the code to the lock box which made the whole experience relaxed. When we got into the house we even had milk in the fridge which was a really lovely touch.

The only thing I would say is we could have done with more towels.

Beautiful bungalow. A home away from home.

Everything needed was there and well thought out. The bedsheet smell so nice. The interior and exterior were brilliant in ocean theme. Nice garden and bbq area. There were lot of helpful information left by the host was so helpful. We were pretty impressed with as some milk and biscuits were arranged before arrival. Highly recommend and we will certainly return.

There is nothing to point out.

The property was in a beautiful location, it was peaceful and surrounded by nature. There was a lovely little garden and plenty of space for us and our dog. Plenty of kitchen items for us to cook and have coffee. The smart TV meant we could watch what we liked and the bed was extremely comfortable so we slept great. We also appreciated the bath so we could relax at the end of the day and the shower was good too. The location was a great spot as we were close to the local Carbis Bay beach, walking distance, and close to St Ives for shopping and food and drink, it’s also helpful to not have extra charges for dogs. The price was also really good value for the place as we had everything we needed and more!
