The White Cottage

Beautiful cottage right in the heart of Woodstock. Will definitely be staying again.

Location was perfect. Parking not an issue as we just moved the car at 8am into the square and spent a couple of pounds to leave it for a couple.of hours before starting the day. House was warm and had sufficient amenities for our stay.

House was very cluttered with a lot of unnecessary objects everywhere (we knocked the tennis rackets off the wall numerous times). Massive pieces of furniture in a tiny house, cupboards cluttered with stuff. In dire need of a good dust. No towel rail in the bathroom. Mirrors not great for dressing and hairstyling

Bit grubby, all windows don’t open. Maintenance not the best

Great location, very short walk to the Woodstock shops, pubs, bus stop. I didn't have a hire car, but I think parking would be an issue if you did have one. The cottage is comfortable plenty of space, really the only downside is if you are tall, as the doorways are low so mind your head! Good kitchen, and great having a washing machine especially for a longer stay. Close to Blenheim Palace which is perfect for a walk or run in the grounds. If you are spending time in the cottage there were loads of books on the shelves to read.

TV is very basic, that might matter to someone but didn't bother me. No microwave in the kitchen, that would have been useful but is easy to live without (plus there wouldn't have been much room for one).
