The Milner Studio

The studio is well presented and in an excellent location close to the Opera House, shops and restaurants. It was clean, quiet and well equipped.

It was very cold when we arrived, 14.5 degrees in the studio and it took until the next morning to reach 18 degrees. This was difficult for me as I have asthma. Putting the heating on before guests arrive would have avoided this. Lots of noise from council workers cleaning the street below and collecting leaves before 8:00am. As it’s a listed building the windows are single glazed and probably great in summer but let the noise and cold in to the studio.

First of all Location The Milner is spotless clean, Everything you need is there at hand. Bed was so so comfy. Overall our experience staying here was amazing, and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts xx

We liked the large bay window overlooking the Opera House and gardens; also the proximity to all the attractions of Buxton.

As older visitors, we were unhappy with the lack of a radio, any adequate reading light either bedside or by a chair, a reasonably-sized coffee table with shelving for reading materials (newspapers, magazines, books and programmes), cupboards with sufficient depth for clothes, any food cupboard in the kitchen and easily accessible crockery cupboard, a dish drainer and sink tidy. There was no shelf or cupboard above the basin and no rubber shower mat.

Excellent location. Large windows lots of light. Very clean. Comfortable bed.

Excellent location, quiet, exceptionally comfortable, everything was new and it was immaculate.

Excellent location. Excellent apartment. Within walking distance of all historic buildings. Fantastic location for eating out and shopping.

Loved the beautiful location and how well it has been decorated. The host gave very easy to follow instructions about access and provided information about the local area. Drinks and biscuits on arrival are a nice touch!
