Canyon View Cutie

Lovely house, in nice quiet, safe, family friendly area. Beautifully decorated, comfy, well equipped with everything we needed. Great location for visiting Mission Beach, San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. Incredibly responsive and supportive host!

The only thing I liked was that the home was situated so that there was a view of a canyon.

The home was in dire need of an overhaul. The home was in a mediocre neighborhood. Upon arrival we were greeted by a paint chipped exterior and front garden not well maintained . Although the backyard had a view of the canyon, the yard was mostly dirt and weeds. There were two old dingy chairs to sit on and nowhere to hang out. The entry way also old and dingy as well as the front door. The inside had wood floors that needed refinishing, linoleum that was worn through, dirty, worn carpeting and furniture that had seen its better days. The kitchen stove looked like something from a junk yard, the freezer was full of other people's food. There was a room off the kitchen/dining area full of owner clutter. The bathroom was dilapidated and the door could not be shut without scraping the floor. We never stayed so I can't say anything about the bedrooms. The TV was not working on top of everything else. We were not willing to spend our vacation here so we checked out immediately.

The area was quiet and clean. Location was perfect for our stay, minutes to the Zoo, Sea World and airport.

Did not dislike anything.
