Trinity Home Stay

Our stay at the Trinity Homestay was like immersing with a Ladakh family. Shakuntala and her son Solomon were very accomodating and hospitable to us, their sole group of guests during our 2 day stay. We were served very sumptuous meals from the night we arrived after a gruelling 14-hour trip from Sonamarg until the last breakfast that we had before we left. Our conversations and exchange of information with them about Leh, their garden, their own science gadgets that generate heat and energy, the food and vegetables, the weather, the people and culture were so informative and engaging. We also requested our host to cook one of our country's popular dish, the adobo, by sharing with her the recipe and she was able to do it very well. Their place was very clean, warm and cozy that we felt very much at home with their family.

Trinity Homestay was an amazingly well maintained place and there was nothing that we did not like from the hosts, the helper, the food and the accomodations with its wonderful surrounding views. Everything was just awesome.

Nothing, I loved staying here

What an amazing place and friendly people! Arriving there we immediately found the beautiful green place with a garden and roses around. We could leave our bikes there and as it was behind a gate it was a safe place. Host: The host waited already for us and immediately offered coffee and tee. We had some very nice conversations with him. He took a lot of it's time to tell us about the live in Leh, what to visit, ect. Room: The room was in a recent building, was clean and big and had a large bathroom with enough space and a hot shower Food: In the evening the hosts mum cooked us a very delicious local food which is really to recommend! Same also for the breakfast, the local bread with the homemade butter ect. was just an amazing start for a new day on our journey. Summary: Really recommend this beautiful place in the nature with nice rooms, friendly and helpful host and amazing food. Also to stay for more then just one night.
