Nice friendly staff, walking distance to cafes and beach

Horridly uncomfortable bed, springs dig in, very hard and bad for our backs. Towels were threadbare and discoloured, bath/shower combo felt like you'd fall through the floor, poor water pressure, terribly steep staircase with odd size stairs. Overpriced for what you get. Gaps around door so mosquitoes come inside.

Staff were very friendly and attentive during our stay. The place is very clean and good for budget traveler’s.

Place was outdated but the friendliness off the staff made up for it

All staff really friendly. The owner was really helpful and chatty and made our stay , helping us when our transport for a trip we had organised ourselves had not arrived. We would have missed the boat but for her. We were also given another key so that the fridge remained on , we didn’t even have to ask . Location was great , short walk to centre of Chaweng, lovely breakfast place just around the corner .

Pillow was too firm for me but that’s just personal preference .

I had a lovely warm welcome with Penzy, felt right at home as a women and solo traveling and felt like my mom Penzy took care of everything. The room was clean and had everything that’s necessary. It’s not so new but it doesn’t matter and the location is perfect, i could walk nearby close restaurants and bars and of course the beach!

For people who are a bit older or not mobile, it might be inconvenient that there are only stairs. For me it was no problem :)

The lady at the reception Is really friendly and pleasant

Strong musty smell in the room, hairdrier to be requested at the reception, very expensive
