"Plan ahead or risk a VERY bad experience"

Isolated safe and calm RECOMMENDED only if coming for complete isolation from civilization for more than 3 days

Too isolated with limited facilities, limited lodge service with nothing around location to purchase anything, insects inside room and bathroom, wasn't informed how to arrive at lodge especially that flights are not trustworthy and need to book a ticket on the only single SAFE boat that comes to the island so me and my partner LITERALLY risked our lives on a fisherman's dinghy sailing 5 hours in rough Indian ocean waves and arriving after sunset in total darkness to the island worried about crashing into random rock formations under the shallow water surface. Then no boat back as seas were too rough and flight was fully booked so risking missing our international flight back home.

extremely nice location, calm, beatiful, but not seperated from the village and local people who are friendly and easy going.

Food was so so. Good with respect to the extremely remote location.
