Tru By Hilton Jacksonville Airport

The location to my conference was perfect.

I booked the room for my husband and put his name on the reservation. Because I used my credit card to pay for the room, they weren't going to honor the reservation. He ended up using his credit card. Why ask for pre-payment when you won't honor the card because I wasn't with him.

Nice, clean and good area

Around 4, we started getting ready for our evening and the room next to us had their music so loud, you would’ve thought we were in the club! We never reported it to the front desk because it was still early in the day but had it been night, that definitely would’ve been issue. Aside from that, the next morning, someone had their dogs either them that were barking extremely loud but overall an okay stay

The front desk had snacks you could purchsse.

I asked for an extra blanket. And when I went down to retrieve it, the front desk employee told me that they didn't have any. Seeing that this is a hotel that had many many rooms with bedding in them. I found that hard to believe and frankly, was truly upset. So I doubt that I will return to a Tru hotel again. And that's too bad that one person's, (What? I don't know. Poor work ethic???) to get me a basic need for comfort, wiill sit with me now everytime I go looking for a hotel.

The shuttle service was awful

I accidentally left my jewelry in the bathroom. I immediately texted the property to advise. They safely stored my valuables in their safe until I could retrieve my items. I appreciated the easy complimentary shuttle service to/from the airport.
