The area is beautiful, you can really relax and fall asleep with a nature sounds, Nice looking shower, nice pool area, friendly owner

The location is 30min from everything (by scooter), so that’s the biggest minus. Also, the staff cleaned our room 2x in the whole week we stayed there. We solved the issue with the owner

This place Is really special, you can have a nice bath, morning meditations outside by your door on very comfy couch with the view to the pool and jungle in the garden with listening to waterfall in the pool. In most villas are really missed comfy seats and this one has inside and outside too. So you can work, meditate, read books and dont have to stay in bed.

The environment. 4 villas nested in a big garden full of trees and flowers, allowing the privacy for each one, a common kitchen that has been very useful, the very nice relationship with the lady owner. The proximity of shops and pharmacy.

Walking path inside the garden,(,very nice looking) done with stones not flat, that made it difficult for me (old) to walk as i slipt often on one of the stones that twisted my foot.

A lovely place to stay and we would come back. A very comfortable bed and great AC. Nice tropical bathroom with a good hot shower. The pool is stunning too! A bit further out of Ubud, which we really liked as it was peaceful and away from the craziness!

The pool filter should be on all the time - or at least between 8am and 6pm. When we arrived it had not been on for a while and there were lots of little bits floating in the water - not a problem after about 30mins of the filter being on though :)

We had a nice stay at Gopala Villa for 10 days. The location is peaceful and secluded, surrounded by beautiful rice fields. The garden and pool are stunning, creating a relaxing atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the cozy terrace with a comfortable sofa—perfect for unwinding. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager was always quick to respond to any requests and solved any issues efficiently. One thing to keep in mind is that, due to the villa's location in the middle of rice fields, there are quite a lot of insects and geckos. However, this is expected in such a natural setting. Overall, Gopala Villa offers good value for money, and we highly recommend it for those looking for a peaceful retreat.
