Lage in einem großen Waldgebiet umgeben von verschiedenen weiteren Chalets. Die Ausstattung war genügend. Klimaanlage arbeitete hervorragend und man konnte auf der Terrasse gemütlich sitzen unter einer elektrischen Markise.

Einfahrt zum Chalet liegt in einer schmalen Sackgasse. Für kurze Fahrzeuglängen ok, ab 4,50m Länge Rückwärts einparken ist hier die bessere Alternative. Wichtig ist bei der Ausfahrt , auch wenn die Schranke offen ist, nicht vergessen sich auszuchecken am Lesegerät in der Nähe der Schranke. Sonst kommen Sie nicht mehr mit dem Auto ins Gelände. Es muss dann die Verwaltung des Parks angerufen werden.

The property: Eclipse is a wonderful chalet with a homely feel. Very clean with almost all the utilities one would need whilst on vacation. The outside space is wonderful with seating and a table under a veranda so guests can dine and spend time outside, there is outdoor lighting so the space can be enjoyed after dark. The chalet provides good Wi-Fi with a smart TV with YouTube and Netflix which was great for us British visitors as we were able to watch some things in the evening, most channels on the TV are in Dutch. There is a fully functioning kitchenette and a dining table with seating for 4/5. Location: Situated in nature, not close to a major road and very quiet! The chalet park is tidy and its residents welcoming and helpful. Please stick to the 5kmph speed limit as the roads inside the park are narrow and children and pets are out and about. Hosts: Rene and Margo are excellent and very accommodating hosts. They communicate well and want only the best for their guests. They are on site for giving the keys, showing the chalet and answering any questions when you arrive. The local beer they left to welcome us on our first visit was delicious!

The chalet does not have any clothes washing facilities, this is as advertised so nothing unexpected but it could be a great addition, especially for those guests who stay for extended periods. We have stayed twice and only for 5 days so this was not a big issue but we do visit the Dutch wellness resorts so we do have to handwash our towels between. The pillows provided were too soft for me, so if you prefer a firmer one it may be prudent to take your own if you can. Having some additional pillows that are a bit firmer so that guests have a choice would be another great addition.
