Bonita Lake Home - Luxury taken to the next level

Clean and comfortable.

Dishwasher wasn’t working and kept beeping. Called Alex and he said he’d be there they say and I didn’t hear back from him. Inquired again and was told it would be repaired next week. Had to wash dishes by hand for entire stay. Blinds are worn and damaged worse than last stay. Most didn’t operate properly and with missing slats, did not provide privacy. Pillows on sofa in living area next to kitchen smell of body odor. Refrigerator shelves and drawers not working properly. It is unfortunate that these issues occurred as this was our second stay at this property and all could be avoided with capable and attentive cleaning and maintenance staff.

Our host was very kind and was quick to respond to any questions that I asked.

The pool was as hot as a jacuzzi. We were not able to cool it off even by turning off the heater. The bedrooms were hot. No air flow. The ac did not cool the house at all (not sure why) We weren't able to sleep - house temp was 80 degrees all night. We stayed 1 night so had no time to have anything fixed. House keeping arrived 30 minutes before our check out time. They parked outside and waited for us to leave. Just very ackward.

The house was very comfortable inside to relax in . The pool was amazing . Everything we needed . So happy with the location. Master bathroom shower was incredible .

The grass wasn’t mowed and the trash ( outside ) was full . Other than that , it was really great

THE POOL and the backyard. The pool was disgusting. the pool guy came in on wed and pour a gallon of chemicals and then left no brush no scooping up the bugs or the poop from the birds and other animals that came in on a daily basis. THAT explains The filthiness of the pool. I needs a serious resurfacing! I had to scoop out the bugs every morning before we went swimming. You need to put a lanai because it lacks a lanai we couldn't enjoy the backyard at all. too many animals visit the pool. Birds, ducks, rabbits and iguanas, lots of them.

House looks even better in person, excellent design choices and has cozy furniture. The pool with the table and umbrella made us extremely happy. Would definitely recommend..

This was an absolutely flawless experience. The process in booking and upon arrival couldn’t have been more straightforward or trouble free. The property was nicely appointed, immaculately clean, comfortable and had all we needed to enjoy a family vacation. Coming back to the property at the end of the day and enjoying the pool with the beautiful view made for a perfect end to each day of our stay. We will definitely book this property again on the future.

There wasn’t a single item I would change or have had done differently.

The home has had some really beautiful upgrades that have unfortunately been neglected. The layout is great and the pool was by far the best feature and the main reason we booked. We had a lot of wildlife visit us from the lake and that was fun to see. The location was in a nice quiet neighborhood in a very convenient location.

We had a lady walk into the home uninvited and without knocking to collect the garbage which is accessible outside, it was very disturbing. I would have liked to notify the host about it but the host was unresponsive. We had reached out to him with some questions via the platform and email and was completely ignored. We finally got ahold of him through a phone call just before our stay. The check in details weren't sent until 24 hours prior along with a rental agreement we had no idea we were getting. Not a huge issue other than the rental agreement would have been nice to have in advance (and before the cancellation window closed) so we could review it before our stay. It was not but there was nothing in there concerning so it was fine. Then we tried to call and text and message a couple of days before we checked out to see about a late check out (which we would have paid for) but he did not respond...AT ALL. The furniture in the home is very uncomfortable, the TV room off the kitchen couches are terrible and the master bed mattress is way too soft for my liking. However mattresses are tough to tailor to guests as everyone's preferences are different. The home was pretty clean but desperately needs a deep clean/touch up and some maintenance done in the backyard and pool patio area. If the host had been somewhat responsive I would definitely book this home again. While the home has been neglected, it is still beautiful and in a great location.

The house was better than pictured. Very roomy inside and out. Had a great stay. Hung out in the heated pool most days. Loved the table in the pool where we would play cards. Very comfortable couches to relax at night. Loved watching the sunset at night.
