Not good enough

It was near the city center and the airconditioner was nice. We got snacks an coffee as a wellcome gift.

The flat felt a bit musty. Also it's lockated in a block of flats, and in the garden there are several cats so you can't leave open the window because they climb in. Also there were no proper mirror in the bathroom, just some reflecting stickers and a tiny handmirror.

Quiet neighborhood.

The worst place in Croatia that I have used. The facility was undergoing renovation, which is absolutely unacceptable to me. Large amounts of building and finishing materials were collected in the hall and kitchen, and since the window in the room could not be opened, the entire building smelled of a musty smell, a mixture of cement, varnish and damp. There was mold in many places in the bathroom and the walls were scratched. I am used to budget accommodation, but this property is substandard: a small window of approximately 0.6 square meters, the room height is no more than 210 cm, which may cause claustrophobia not only for tall people. The bed only seems to be a double bed, unless it is for extremely slim people (cca.100 cm wide). The bedding was bare so we had to put the bedclothes on. Very bad contact with the owner who delayed providing the code to the box. The price is absolutely inadequate to the conditions. I have photographic documentation. The property cannot be offered during renovation. Shame on you, Helena!

I will put the highest grade because the value for money is really not bad. I enjoyed the hospitality, the position (near the beautiful park Mlaka), the view on the garden and blossoming jasmine, the cats. Apartment had everytning I need, neighnourhood is rather quite and the beds are cosy.

There is this cigarette smoke scent, but I had my windows open so it wasn't a problem.
