GBThe house is pretty, with a nice outside seating area with fan. I liked my room and the bed was comfortable. There is good WiFi, free water and a fridge to use. They did a nice job on my laundry, which was cheaper than in Kochi. The cliff top with all the shops and restaurants is about 10 mins walk away. I particularly liked Darjeeling Cafe, Aum Cafe and Bindu's for breakfast.
There was a big language barrier. The listing says English is spoken here but it isn't. So i was unable to rely on my hosts for any help or advice. There was barely any communication between us while i was there. Despite the house being up a side lane, it wasn't that quiet. The mosque is very close. There are packs of dogs in the lane, barking at each other and sometimes howling at the mosque speakers. However I'm a good sleeper and I did generally sleep well, despite the disturbances. The main entrance room often had a funny smell lingering. Not sure what it was. It was better when they burned incense. Also just a note that my room wasn't cleaned at all in the week I was there. Being by the beach, it would have been good to get the floor swept.

DEThe family is very friendly and helpful. One can also have breakfast there. There is a nice terrace one can also use. The room was comfortable and clean.
Since Kerala is a district where certain diseases are transmitted by mosquitos,a mosquito net in the room would be good. Or other preventive measures (anti-mosquito plug).
GB10 minute walk from beach and most restaurants, spacious comfortable room, good AC and hot water.

The Bed is too small for two people and not really comfortable. Only shared balcony despite the room saying it is with balcony on booking

The amenities were very limited. There was no power backup. We were struggling in midnight due to powercut.
