Absolutely perfect. Easy, central location. A really beautiful and comfortable home, with so many thoughtful touches for guests and plenty of space and privacy. Staff were warm and welcoming and the breakfast spread at the associated cafe was delicious. Will definitely be back.

THESE ARE THE THINGS WE DID NOT LIKE, CONTINUED............ 3)On Saturday and Easter Sunday, there was not enough hot water in the house to accommodate 5 people. The house was relying on a solar water heater, that had a really small boiler for its needs. As soon as one of us had a shower, the hot water was finished, so the rest could not bathe!!!!!!!! The reason was that there was a broken fuse in the switchboard that could not be fixed immediately, so the water could not get electrically heated. 4) The weather during our stay was bad. It was windy, rainy and cold. At the groundfloor room the windows were letting in cold air, so we had to move the beds to the other side of the room, plus covering the windows with pillows and sheets in order to avoid catching a cold. 5)The house is located very close to “Faros” bar that illegally had very loud music until 2:00a.m. with the tolerance of the local police. As you may realize we could only sleep after 2:00a.m.!!!!!!!!! Our group was consisting of me and my husband that are middle aged, our teenage daughter and my elderly parents (91 & 84y.o.). We went to Kastellorizo for three days to relax(?????) Overall, our stay was not satisfactory at all. We could not sleep, we could not bathe and we had to solve issues that we did not expect to face during our vacation. The house is a very nice house that however lacks serious maintenance and should not be rented when the weather conditions are not 100% favorable.

1)Upon arrival we met with the person in charge, Ms Tasoula, a very kind and nice lady, who informed us, after we asked, that Deli Mediterraneo, the place from which we were supposed to get our breakfast, had not opened yet and that instead, we could get our breakfast from the bakery of the island. So, I tried to find the owner of the bakery in order to make sure that we could be served, given the fact that we arrived in Kastellorizo on Good Friday and Sunday was Easter Day. As expected, the bakery would not work regularly so we could not be served there either. I want to mention that this was our first time in Kastellorizo, so we had no idea of the available places to eat. Anyhow, I requested from Ms Tassoula, that she would give us the voucher of €50/day for the breakfast, so that we could spend it as we wished. After discussing it with the owner, she told us that we could spend up to €50 daily for breakfast at Meltemi café. So, this is how the issue with the breakfast was solved. I want to mention though, that i)we had to find a solution to a problem that we were not informed in advance, ii)it was an uncomfortable and time consuming situation upon our arrival and iii)we had to pay additional money daily for breakfast, because it is much different to buy food from bakeries than being served at cafes. 2)There was no TV in the entire house 3)On Saturday and Easter Sunday, there was not enough hot water in the house to accommodate 5 people. Great location

for the price you could include breakfast or at least a bottle of water.

The location was great, very close to the main port area, all nice bars, restaurants and shops. Rooms very clean with delicate Anatolian style decorative style. Nice bed mattress.

The rooms are note very big and some minor amenities are missing (e.g shelves, suitcase furniture, dry hangers etc). A more minimalistic touch would still work and keep the authenticity of the boutique residence. Bigger room entrance doors could work. A bit too narrow. Also more light inside the room might be needed.
