Wonderful laundry wash and dry setup. Drying rack on the patio was perfect, plenty of room to hang clothes indoors.

Mattress in larger bedroom was flipped over, the side on top was not meant to be slept on. The actual top of the mattress was disgustingly stained and smelled bad. It needs to be replaced! Requested additional toilet paper, never recd. Host not responsive. Front door lock broken when we arrived, no instructions provided before arrival. Apartment lock barely functional, did not work well at all. Minimally secure. If mattress replaced and door fixed would give it a 9

Excellent location in the old part of Lisbon. Great facilities, lovely touch to have wine and water on arrival. Beds very comfortable, lovely to have a balcony outside.

The stairs up to the apartment are very steep and dont think you could have a small child stating due to steps with no stair gate inside the apartment.

Access codes are sent through booking.com messages from host to you in advance. All members of family can have access to the flat by knowing codes, independent of having a key. Flat is nice and clean, with some refreshments, ie, a few coffee pods and a bottle of wine. It is centrally located close o main attractions, restaurants and shops, (very close to castle, a nice street food closeby, etc).

I received the codes and directions to open door. I did not see any host, all information were sent on booking.com messages. If you think that you would have difficulty in internet access in Portugal, your entry to the flat would be with some hassle. Secondly, I had to send a message to the host for the ringing alarm just after arrival, but there was no quick reply. The local streets are uphill and the entrance stairs are narrow and steep, not suitable to carry heavy luggage on your own. It would be great if an information leaflet is provided in the flat for ie map, attractions, restaurant, taxi, etc.

The location is perfect. But do be advised it is up a steep hill. The apartment is spotless. You can literally smell how clean it was when we opened the door. 2 spacious bedrooms with a lovely balcony off one. Lovely bathroom and well equipped kitchen. A nice sitting area also with flat screen wall mounted tv. Nice touch of bottled water and a little bottle of win on arrival. Don't understand people complaining about the amount of steps to the apartment. It's only 31! But they are steep.

A couple of small things but they didn't affect our stay nor would it stop us coming back. Just suggestions! Only 1 mirror in the whole apartment which is in the bathroom. Not ideal when a couple of girls are trying to get ready and one is using the shower! A small drawer unit in each room (especially the room that only has a clothes rail!) would help as there's only somewhere to hang clothes but not much space for smaller items like underwear etc. (If it had been the black rail pictured, it would have been fine, but it was just a single rail). Some light curtains on the windows would also be nice as there are apartments opposite the bedrooms so when you need to get changed the electric shutters have to go all the way down!
