"Excellent, cosy stay!"

10.0

The hideaway was a perfect cosy retreat in an excellent location. It was close enough to all major 'attractions' but nestled away as to feel really relaxing when you venture home. Carol was absolutely brilliant and came and saw us when we arrived and when we left. There were lovely added touches like fresh flowers and eggs to welcome us on the Friday. We will be returning!

Absolutely nothing!

Lovely little hideaway on the edge of the Forest of Dean - plenty to do in the area, and the hideaway is a cosy space to come back to, with a great little kitchen for cooking in.

"Beautiful and restfull!"

10.0

Such a nice place, great location to get a rest and explore the surrounding nature. Carol is a lovely and welcoming host. Waking up watching the birds play in the garden while having our breakfast was great fun. Using public transport we went to puzzlewood, Coleford and walked in the forest.

"Superb"

9.0

My partner and I recently stayed at Hoarthorns Hideaway and had a truly memorable experience. The carriages are cozy and beautifully nestled in the Forest of Dean, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing escape. We loved waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature and enjoyed the nearby hiking trails. The hosts were welcoming and ensured everything was just right for our stay. The attention to detail and the serene setting made it a fantastic getaway. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.
