Hotel Quinta Real

Location right by the beach, with nice views of the sea.

The facilities are old or look old, the hotel has seen better days and now it should have a solid 2 stars instead of 4x as it has in Booking.

Wi Fi is terrible

The restaurant was pretty good- 8 out of 10. The bed was comfortable as well. Staff can be nice depends. If you stay here it is either because you come for work or your family lives near by.

This hotel might have been well know in the 90's and it never escaped that era. It is not safe for families with young kids and for women. You go to the pool and you have men cat calling your daughters trying to get their attention or they stare them down. Sure, there are guards but you do not feel safe. Anyone can access the hotel, common areas, and bedrooms it has an open access from the beach. You will see small lizards walking in the hallways and in your room. If you have the corner bedroom close to the pool you will have no wifi and if luck has it the restaurant next door will have drunk people singing loud for you. The beaches are dirty go to Tela instead if you are on the main land.

The location was great, the staff did little or nothing to help.

The entire staff was was superb. The restaurant provided world-class cuisine. Always attentive at the pool. Outdoor areas were comfortable and shady. A great place to meet friends and family during a stay in La Ceiba. The owner, Sra. Hilsaca, should be proud.

The beach itself could be maintained a little better. Lots of litter and debris. With this notice I am sure it will be attended to.

The location was nice but unfortunately was not very private and allowed incursion from people who were not guests. The bellboy was helpful on arrival.

The facilities were run down and maintenance of the seating areas was poor with peeling paint and lack of convenient seating around the tables. Sandy in reception was pleasant but gave us a two bed room when we had requested a large bed as we were on our anniversary. We were able to change but it sets a tone. The showers were hard to adjust between hot and cold. The bedding was all together and hard to separate the sheets from the covers. Not everyone likes the same temperature. The breakfast was poor and not refreshed and left out too long. We tried scrambled eggs and they were inedible due to too much salt. You can always add salt but hard to take out.

They said together would have my room set up with my requeat and didnt also they put us in a spot where it was loud music all night

The price the hidden charges. The room location. Lied to about accomadations.
