Al Papavero Rosso

The host was amazing - so welcoming, helpful, accommodating and kind. The area is rather quiet and feels very safe, and the place itself was lovely - clean, had a pleasant, peaceful vibe, and there was a great view from the terrace. It was my first time travelling alone, and coming back to this place after a long (stressful) day was the best thing for me. I would definitely stay here again.

Great communication with the host.

The host was very nice and friendly. I was in a small single room but it was very clean and cleaned daily. From the top terrace there was a nice sea view and to the city and the port. Anti-mosquito repellent was provided just in case. Good breakfast every morning + water. Quite good fish restaurant nearby.

The location is far away from the train station (20 min) and the stop that look closer in Google maps do not function any more. There were some dogs around which were barking too often. The train is also very close and the noise disturbs a bit. At the same time it was nice too see your place when you are ON this train to or from Sorento :)

The host, Terry, was super lovely and friendly! She picked me up from the local pharmacy and we walked up the hill together. The place is nicely tucked away, I think it's perfect for a getaway. And the aircon was bliss, much needed in the boiling hot summer. The simple breakfast was perfect for me. It was a great insight into what an Italian house could look like. Hope I can come back one day!

There wasn't a standing shower space in the ground floor bathroom, only a bathtub and showerhead attachment, so I had to learn how to shower while sitting :')
