This was easily the worst accomodation that I have ever booked. So bad, that we didn't stay. Firstly the entrance door is around the corner and not actually on the street. We were sent a photo of the side door, that is not on the street. It would be nice to know this minor detail. The floor upon entering appeared dirty and not maintained. The worst thing is there is no heating. I asked the owner about this, but I didn't receive an answer. The appartment was freezing cold, colder inside than outside and it was December. It would have been a very uncomfortable night, so we decided to leave, but didn't request a refund. We found much better accomodation at NAU Salema Beach Village for only €1.00 more. It included TV, internet and heating. This is the most over priced property I have ever seen, keep away! PS. In response to the owner's reply, nowhere in the property description does it say that there is no heating. Also, I am not the only one to complain about that. This would not be problem in winter. During our three week holiday in Portugal, we stayed a few of these traditional houses and all the other owners provided some type of heating. You are correct, now I must also check to see if a property has heating. I was also not told there are two entrances.

Die Lage

Die Ausstattung: Der Fußbodenbelag war weitflächig kaputt und schmutzig, die Duschkabine verschimmelt. Die Bettdecke war nicht bezogen. Das Schlafzimmer hatte kein Fenster, nur eine direkte Aussentür zur Straße, war also nachts nicht belüftbar. Die Vorhänge waren lichtdurchlässig; wegen der Straßenlaternen blieb das Schlafzimmer nachts hell. Einzelne Elemente waren neueren Datums (Nachttisch, Toilettenschüssel), konnten aber den Gesamteindruck nicht wirklich verbessern. 105 € pro Nacht war restlos und unverschämt überteuert.
