Salema Beach Home

Close to the beach.

There were no working toilets on the property and when we contacted the owners they called this an ‘inconvenience’. We had to use the toilets at a local restaurant, and the property refused to give compensation. I would not recommend staying here ever.

Location is great

The noise from the bar down the street at night until morning hours. The parking is a small distance from the property.

Spacious clean

Nice location, directly at the fisherman’s trail. Very nice communication with owners plus earlier checkin possible! Good warm shower!

There’s no way around it: it’s an old place, not very well taken care of with a random collection of furniture that has seen better days. Kitchen items were dirty, there was mould in the bathroom, the toilets didn’t flush which was a bit disgusting to be honest…between kitchen and bedroom 1 the ceiling was deceptively very low: please put a sign there or something, my husband scraped his head open on it

I loved everything about this place! It’s an entire house and very comfortable in an amazing location. The beds are super comfortable and the shower nice and hot. Our stop at the Salema Beach House completely restored us during our 12 day trek. I can’t say enough about the accommodations and the host. Both were exceptional. Thank you! Thank you!

The apartment is old and in disrepair The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy There was no duvet cover on the duvet and not enough blankets for an apartment without heat There were cob webs on the ceiling, and ants and silverfish on the floor and walls Shower needed to be preheated for 30 minutes

Fantastic location so near to beach and on a pretty street. Original and new parts to the property which is a nice blend. Sara (and the grandmother) very attentive, helpful and informative and accommodating.
