Luxury house with Clifftop Seaview

Definitely not Luxury. Cosyish would be a better word. Bath room needs an upgrade. Kitchen cupboards need sorting. Toilet seat is loose.

Great location in a quiet neighbourhood, stunning views, shops, cafes, and good restaurants in walking distance, and with a stretch the beach is too. One bedroom is excellent: spacious with wide sliding doors to enjoy the view. The kitchen is big, the dining table is huge and so is the TV for a relaxed movie night (Netflix available). Washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate room keeping the noise away. Hassle-free stay.

Nothing major, but some small things like a wobbly toilet seat, broken sunblinds, the odd ant running around (ant killers placed), and while the supplied coffee machine and pods are great, the steaming kit is incomplete, so making a cappuccino is not possible.

the view was great but there was no outdoor furniture for sitting on the deck as described in the listing. when we asked about it we didn’t get a response.

it was not clean and several of the things listed on the website as available were not available. The staff was very unresponsive and unhelpful.

yes the views were fantastic. a joy to relax and watch the coast. the property was clean and spacious for the size of the property. everything we needed for a weekend away and the linen was lovely.

extra bedroom was actually an old garage, under the main property with no bathroom facilities, and smelt damp and possibly mouldy. And this room only had External access. Really this is only a 2 bedroom property suitable for 4 guests only. Only one bathroom and toilet. I felt it was over priced and probably not what i would call Luxury.

Beautiful views, very nice property, extremely comfortable beds.

Kitchen rubbish bins had rubbish in them when we checked in and it was smelly. We checked in quite late and it was pitch black and pouring down with rain. There were no outdoor auto sensor flood lights so I had to beam my car lights and use my phone light to give enough light to unlock the secure lock box to get the keys. There was no floor mat inside the main entrance so everyone was tracking in water when they entered the house and before shoes were taken off - couldn’t leave them outside as it was pouring with rain and there are no sheltered areas anywhere outside. The outdoor area is lovely but can get uncomfortable very quickly because there is no shade/umbrellas so you can’t really enjoy the deck for long. I messaged the host about some issues with the house using the booking.com messaging on the night we checked in. We checked out 2 days later and I never heard back from the host.
